About Lexus

Lexus cars were launched in 1989 with the manufacturer instantly embarking on the never-ending 'pursuit of perfection'. Just two years before launch, a selection of Toyota engineers were assembled to build 'the best luxury cars ever' and nearly two decades on they have established Lexus as vehicles of refinement and style that harness the latest technology to define the driving experience. With stringent quality standards, Lexus claim that their cars have the highest levels of comfort, refinement and reliability.

With environmental concerns in mind, the aim of Lexus is to eventually build a zero-emissions vehicle. In the interim, the innovations and initiatives that form part of the development and manufacturing process are playing their part in limiting the immediate environmental burden.
